Adambean's Wurm Unlimited server

My home server runs Wurm Unlimited full time, though typically only 1 world/instance at a time. It's currently open for public play, but please expect that you'll likely be playing on your own unless you bring your own group of friends, as there are only 2 regular players.

The general rule is don't be a total dick. GM activity is kept to a minimum.

Note about Bean Village specifially: While we don't mind casual players looking around our settlement, please don't try to push your way into our or anyone else's team/settlement. -- That is unsavoury.

Maps

Static maps are generated using Keenan's map viewer whenever I remember to make one. (Sometimes weekly, sometimes monthly.)

Interactive maps are generated using Jonneh's map viewer every 3 hours.

Kingdom starter towns

Each kingdom has a starter town where new/unsettled players will start at, and respawn at after death. Once you create/join a settlement you will respawn there instead. These towns are not owned by any active players, but in fact a non-playable character that exists only for this purpose. You cannot be join these settlements, and they cannot be destroyed by other players.

These towns offer:

  • Basic protection for new players
  • A guide providing tutorials to get started
  • A bar tender offering free food/drink for your first 24 hours (use him while you can!)
  • A market trader allowing you to trade coins and items
  • A road to a mine quite near(ish) by, assuming nobody else has destroyed it
  • An altar to prey/sacrifice at

There will (likely) be a starter town for each kingdom, though freedom isles doesn't always have one as these are more nomadic.

  • Jenn-Kellon kingdom town will follow Fo
  • Mol-Rehan kingdom town will follow Magranon
  • Horde of the Summoned kingdom town will follow Libila
  • Freedom Isles kingdom town will follow Vynora

This was our first world just using the vanilla Heavenord adventure world.

Though it still exists we don't run it much now as the content was getting quite stale. A lot of the official quest segments had gone missing too due to its age. (For example none of the end game cave items/mobs existed, and none of the mobs guarding altars existed.)

It was built using a height map and biome overlay, drawn by hand on a graphics tablet. You won't find a copy of this world available for download. (Yet.)
